Blending European Expertise with Indian Market Growth
The company’s foray into India aligns with its mission to bring European distillation expertise to one of the world’s fastest-growing premium spirits markets.
Puranique’s production spans across France and Scotland — regions celebrated for their heritage in crafting Cognac, Armagnac, liqueurs, Pineau des Charentes wines, gin, rum, absinthe, and akvavit.

“India is at the heart of the global premium spirits growth story,” said Anoop Mohan, Promoter & CEO, Puranique Spirits India.
“Consumers here seek not just a drink, but an authentic and world-class experience. As India and the UK strengthen trade ties, this is the perfect moment to bring our European excellence to Indian shores.”
Two Decades of Global Heritage
Rahul Puranik, Chairman of Puranique Spirits, emphasized the company’s legacy spanning over two decades in France and Scotland, with award-winning spirits available in 18 countries.
“Bringing them to India feels like a natural progression,” he noted.
“With vodka and Cognac now launched and plans to introduce our full portfolio by 2026, we aim to create a complete premium spirits ecosystem in India.”
Expanding Portfolio and Vision
Viren Moholkar, Country Head, India, stated that the launch is the beginning of a broader rollout featuring 24 premium offerings across categories by 2026.
The Indian lineup will cover five key segments — Cognac, Gin, Rum, Vodka, and an Artisan Craft Spirits range — all curated for premium consumers.
Mahesh Manjrekar as Brand Ambassador
At the launch, veteran actor and filmmaker Mahesh Manjrekar was introduced as Puranique’s brand ambassador.
“Puranique represents true premium spirit — heritage, craftsmanship, and refinement,” he said.
“It’s not just a beverage; it’s an experience bringing global excellence to India.”
Outlook
Puranique Spirits’ entry into India marks a fusion of European tradition and Indian market potential, positioning the brand to redefine luxury and authenticity in India’s premium alcobev segment.
